A Welcome to Our Traditions

Our weekend brings together two evenings shaped by South Asian Muslim tradition. If parts of the celebration are new to you, please know there's no pressure to know every custom — we're just so glad to share it with you.

The Reception is a formal evening of vows, dinner, and dancing. The Valima, hosted by the groom's family on the second day, is a feast and joyful celebration with extended family and friends.

Food at both events will be halal. There's no obligation around alcohol — both evenings will be alcohol-free, in keeping with our families' wishes.
